El Robledo. (in addition to Las Islas, Navalrincón and Las Tablillas) It is located in the western part of the Montes Norte region, near the Bullaque River. With a population of 1,389 inhabitants according to the Municipal Register of January 2010, the territory covers an area of 111.1 km2. It is located about 43 km from the capital, Ciudad Real.
This charming place rises to an altitude of 646 m above sea level, on the plain known as Raña de Matagrande, framed by the valley where the Alcobilla and Bullaque rivers converge. Towards the southwest, you can see the majestic Navalaencina mountain range.
In addition to the main nucleus, El Robledo has several villages that are part of its municipality, such as Las Tablillas, Las Islas, Navalrincón and Navalajarra.
Between Ciudad Real and Toledo is the Cabañeros destination that houses the best national representation of Mediterranean forest, the Cabañeros National Park.
