Pueblonuevo del Bullaque, a town dependent on Retuerta del Bullaque, is located along the banks of the Bullaque River. This town was built in 1954 by the National Institute of Colonization, under the direction of architect Manuel Jiménez Varea, with the aim of settling settlers on both dry and irrigated plots. The architectural design of Pueblonuevo del Bullaque reflects the characteristic aesthetics of the towns created by the Institute. However, it stands out for the use of masonry and typical whitewashing on the façade walls, adding a distinctive touch.
